Please join FTC Commissioner Julie Brill in a Twitter Chat to discuss data security, privacy, and the Internet of things.

Julie Brill was sworn in as a Commissioner in April 2010. She is an advocate of protecting consumers’ privacy, especially with new online and mobile technologies. She has been active in discussions involving cross border data protection and privacy issues, especially with respect to the proposed data protection regulation in the European Union.  And she has encouraged data brokers to increase the transparency of their data collection and use, and to provide enhanced access and choice to consumers.
