Valerie Green, Chief Administrative Services Officer
The Office of the Chief Administrative Services Officer (OCASO) provides a safe and secure electronic and physical environment through trusted service delivery and effective information management. OCASO’s activities include the following:
- Provides building and grounds management, and oversees maintenance and custodial contracts
- Manages physical security, emergency preparedness, COOP, health, and safety programs
- Provides logistical coordination and support for all types of FTC events including workshops and conferences
- Manages agency-wide support functions including mail services, printing and copying, supplies, transit subsidy, and furniture warehousing
- Operates the agency’s print and electronic library and provides research services
- Maintains the official public record in all FTC matters
- Provides records and information management support and retrieval services
- Serves all official documents and receives filings before the Commission and Administrative Law Judge
- Processes public comments in FTC adjudicative proceedings and public comments
