Imposter scams affect everyone, but older adults are increasingly being affected by this scam. As part of National Consumer Protection Week, the FTC is hosting a discussion on top scams affecting older adults. Join representatives from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Social Security Administration (SSA), and AARP for a one-hour discussion to empower older adults to spot and avoid scams and help others do the same.
