FTC sends payments to Golden Sunrise customers
The FTC is sending 578 checks totaling more than $40,700 to eligible customers who bought certain treatment plans from Golden Sunrise. If you got a check, please cash it within 90 days.
The agency is also mailing 547 claim numbers to people who have not yet submitted a claim. The deadline has been extended to May 12, 2026. If you got a letter with a Claim ID, then you can apply online for an additional payment at www.goldensunriserefund.com.
What was the settlement about?
The FTC sued Golden Sunrise for falsely claiming its products could treat or cure COVID-19, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and other serious health conditions. In reality, the products were mostly made of herbs and spices. The defendants paid money to settle. The FTC will use that money to provide refunds to Golden Sunrise customers.
Golden Sunrise sold these products between July 2017 and July 2020: Primary Plan of Care, Emergency D-Virus Plan of Care, Metabolic Plan of Care, and Cancer Plan of Care.
