Event Description

COVID-19 has led to a variety of consumer protection issues, and the pandemic continues to have a large financial impact on people in every community. To help people find accurate and reliable information in their communities, the East Central Region, is hosting a virtual listen and learn session with legal services organizations, consumer advocates, state and local law enforcement, and other community groups. Participants will discuss the consumer and financial issues that people in Ohio are facing, how groups are reaching their audiences during the pandemic, and FTC and other helpful resources.

Under the Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”) or other laws, we may be required to disclose to outside organizations the information you provide when you pre-register for events that require registration. The Commission will consider all timely and responsive public comments, whether filed in paper or electronic form, and as a matter of discretion, we make every effort to remove home contact information for individuals from the public comments before posting them on the FTC website.
