The FTC is sending 65,022 checks totaling more than $9.8 million to people who completed eligible money transfers at Walmart between January 2015 and December 2024.
According to the lawsuit brought by the FTC, Walmart failed to properly train its employees, warn customers, and secure its money transfer services at its stores to prevent fraud.
