FTC MAILS CLAIM FORMS IN STUDENT DEBT RELIEF CASE

The FTC sued Student Debt Doctor LLC, alleging that the company collected illegal upfront fees and falsely promised to reduce or eliminate consumers’ student loan payments. The company agreed to settle the charges and paid more than $2 million. The FTC plans to use this money to provide partial refunds to consumers.

If you paid Student Debt Doctor to reduce your student loan debt, you may receive a claim form. Please complete and return this form by February 21, 2021.
