The Federal Trade Commission today announced the following actions:

Applications for approval of transactions:

  • The FTC has received an application from the following: Exxon Mobil Corp. The application concerns Exxon Mobil's request to divest Mobil Pipe Line Company's interest in Colonial Pipeline Company and Colonial Ventures, L.L.C. (Colonial), as required by Paragraph IX.A.-B. of the Commission's proposed decision and order in Docket No. C-3907. Mobil's interests would be repurchased by Colonial through the proposed divestiture, and would be acquired by the remaining owners of Colonial.

    The Commission is seeking public comment on the application for 30 days, until May 25, 2000. Comments should be sent to the Office of the Secretary, 600 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20580. (FTC File No. 991-0077; Docket No. C-3907; staff contact is Daniel P.   • The FTC has received applications from the following: Store Chek Systems. The application concerns this company's request for prior approval by the Commission for licenses to effect transactions originated by Comdata Cards, pursuant to FTC Docket No. C-3993. Under Paragraph II.B. of the Commission's decision and order, Ceridian is required to license a minimum of three New System Providers that have received the prior approval of the Commission.

    The Commission is seeking public comment on the application for 30 days, until May 25, 2000. Comments should be sent to the Office of the Secretary, 600 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20580. Amended complaints:

  • The FTC has authorized staff to file an amended Section 13(b) complaint in the following matter: Federal Data Services, Inc. This complaint adds Dawn Johnson (also known as Dawn Tate) as an individual defendant in this matter. (FTC File No. X000064; staff contact is Gregory A.
