The Federal Trade Commission will hold a press conference on Thursday, December 14, 2000, at 1:30 p.m. to discuss the action approved this morning regarding the proposed merger of America Online and Time Warner. The Chairman of the Commission and the Director of the FTC's Bureau of Competition will be available to answer media questions. The press conference is open to the public, but only credentialed media will be able to ask questions of the Commission.
