System Improvements Coming Soon

As noted earlier, the RN system is being upgraded and the RN system is temporarily unavailable.

On Monday, July 14th, the new RN system will be available.  To access the new RN system, current and new users will be required to register and create a new login account starting on Monday, July 14th.

Note:  This transition will not impact any valid RN.  Any existing, non-cancelled RN will remain valid without a login account. You will need to create a new login account only if you wish to update or cancel the RN.

We appreciate your attention and cooperation as we make this upgrade.


Businesses can use a registered identification number (RN) in place of a company name on the required label. Businesses can apply to the FTC for an RN or to update an existing RN, free of charge. An RN is not required.

Who can apply?

Businesses located in the United States that manufacture, import, distribute, or sell most textile and wool products and fur clothing.
