FTC Workshop on Testing Effectiveness of Consumer Disclosures
The Federal Trade Commission will host a public workshop on Sept. 15, 2016 to examine the testing and evaluation of disclosures that companies make to consumers about advertising claims, privacy practices, and other information. Members of the public may submit comments for the workshop online.

Proposed Consent Agreement: St. Cloud Medical/CentraCare
The Proposed Consent Agreement in this matter is designed to mitigate the anticompetitive effects that would result from CentraCare’s acquisition of St. Cloud Medical Group, P.A. The Analysis to Aid Public Comment describes the consent agreement package.

16 CFR Part 305: Energy Labeling Rule; Notice of Proposed Rulemaking; Request for Public Comments
The FTC proposes amendments to the Energy Labeling Rule to require labels for portable air conditioners, large-diameter and high-speed small diameter ceiling fans, and instantaneous electric water heaters. Additionally, it proposes eliminating certain marking requirements for plumbing products.

In the application for divestiture, the respondent seeks approval to divest certain assets located in Galva, Iowa and Sargeant Bluff, Iowa that are related to its carbon dioxide business to Reliant Processing, Ltd.
