IoT Registration and Submission

Registration

To enter this contest, every contestant, including each member of a team, must complete a Registration Form. To register, email the completed Registration Form to IoTHomeInspector@ftc.gov by May 22, 2017 at 12:00 pm EDT.

For team submissions, the Team Representative may forward the Registration Forms for all the members of a team in one email to the FTC (the Team Representative is the team member authorized by the other members of the team to communicate with the FTC for the team).  The Team Representative is encouraged to keep a record of each team member’s Registration Form.

Contestants are encouraged to submit the Registration Form/s along with the Submission itself, to keep all the documents together. After a Contestant registers, the FTC will send a confirmation message to the email address provided by the Contestant on the Registration Form.

Submission

Contestants must submit all components of their submission – the abstract, a link to the video and a detailed paper – in one email to IoTHomeInspector@ftc.gov by the submission deadline.   Contestants are encouraged to email the Registration Form/s along with the Submission, to keep all the documents together.   

Submissions are due by May 22, 2017 at 12:00 pm EDT.

Verification

As noted in the official Rules, contestants potentially qualifying for a prize will be notified and have to meet verification and payment requirements.
