FTC Approves Federal Register Notice Extending Comment Period on Proposed Business Opportunity Rule

Commission approval of Federal Register notice: The Commission has approved the publication of a Federal Register notice concerning the proposed Business Opportunity Rule. The notice, which was published on June 1 and can be found on the Commission’s Web site as a link to this press release, announces that the FTC has extended the public comment period on the proposed Rule until July 17, 2006. Instructions on how to file comments, as well as a link to the original Federal Register notice, were issued on the Commission’s Web site on April 5, 2006.
