Coronavirus Scams: How Advocates Can Help Webinar

Scammers are taking advantage of fears around the coronavirus. Your organization and your staff may be affected, just like your clients are. Join us for a webinar to learn about coronavirus-related scams and how advocates like you can help your clients avoid these scams while also protecting yourselves and your organizations. The Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will discuss new scams, warning signs of fraud, prevention education resources and steps for reporting them.

Topics will include common scams including fake tests and cures, robocalls, government imposters, business email compromise, and Paycheck Protection Program messages. You will also learn online safety tips for working from home and video conferencing.
