Did you buy products from FashionNova.com before November 21, 2019? You may be eligible for a refund.

Fashion Nova paid $4.2 million to settle FTC charges that the company misled customers by blocking negative reviews on its website. The FTC is now using that money to provide refunds.

What was the lawsuit about?

According to the FTC, Fashion Nova didn’t publish hundreds of thousands of negative reviews about its products and made average star ratings look better by excluding reviews with less than four stars.

Who is eligible to apply for a refund?

You may apply for a refund if you meet all four requirements:

  1. You bought products from FashionNova.com before November 21, 2019

  4. You have not already received a refund for the products

If you meet these four requirements, you may apply for a refund, even if you got money earlier from a different Fashion Nova settlement.

If you meet the four eligibility requirements for the current settlement, you can apply for a refund, even if you got a payment earlier from a different Fashion Nova settlement.

In April 2020, Fashion Nova agreed to pay money to settle FTC charges that the company didn’t properly notify customers about delayed shipments and illegally used gift cards to compensate customers for unshipped products. The FTC sent checks and PayPal payments to affected consumers in March 2021 and October 2021. All available funds from that settlement have been distributed.
