FTC returns money to people who paid for bogus cancer cures
The FTC is mailing a second round of checks to people who paid for bogus cancer cures. A federal judge found that Daniel Chapter One broke the law then they claimed four dietary supplements—BioShark, 7 Herb Formula, GDU, and Endo 24—could treat or cure cancer, even though they didn’t have reliable scientific evidence of that.
The first round of checks mailed in May 2016. Because money still remains in the fund, the FTC is mailing an additional 1,014 checks totaling more than $9,500.
