Registration
To register to participate in DetectaRobo, every contestant, including all members of a team, must sign a Registration Form and submit it to Contests@robocall.ftc.gov. If entering as a team, the team representative must submit all team members’ Registration Forms via one email. The email used must match the email address provided on the Registration Form (or in the case of a team, the team representative’s Form). Registration opens at 9 am ET on June 6, 2015.
Contest participation is limited to the first 50 individuals or teams who register. Any Forms submitted before Registration opens will not qualify as an entry. Contestants will receive an email confirming registration from Contests@robocall.ftc.gov at the email address the contestant provided. The data sets and additional instructions will be distributed in the email confirming registration.
Submission
Contestants must submit all components of their submission in one email to Contests@robocall.ftc.gov. Contestants must use the email address they provided on their Registration Form (or in the case of a team, the email address in the team representative’s Form). With the exception of the email address, the submission must not contain any information identifying the contestant’s identity, such as name, address, employment information, or other identifying details. Submissions are due by June 7, 2015 at 8:00 pm E.T.
