The Federal Trade Commission has announced an open meeting of the Commission will be held virtually on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. ET. This will be part of a series of meetings that will open the work of the Commission to the public. The open meeting will be followed by a time for members of the public to address the Commission. The March 21 event will be held virtually and live streamed on ftc.gov.

You can participate in this open meeting in three ways:

  1. Speak during the public comment section of the meeting: You can address the Commission on FTC-related matters during the event by registering for a two-minute speaking slot using the form below. An FTC staffer will respond to confirm your participation.
  2. Submit a video comment: Please use the form below to submit the web link of your video statement. Pre-recorded videos submitted to the FTC may be broadcast during the event as time allows.
  3. Submit a written comment. Please use the form below to submit a brief written statement. If your written comment exceeds the character limit please email your statement to openmeetings@ftc.gov. Written statements will be placed on the public record of the Commission.

The Commission reserves the right to clip videos that exceed the time limit, and may reject comments or videos that include profanity, obscenities, personally identifiable information, protected health information, or competitively sensitive information, threats to another’s health or safety, or that are otherwise off-topic. The Commission reserves the right to enforce the two-minute speaking slot time limit.

Statements must be submitted no later than 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Pre-recorded video statements are limited to two minutes maximum per submitter.
