Guides Help Firms Ensure Their Environmental Claims Are Truthful and Substantiated

The Green Guides help marketers avoid making deceptive claims by outlining general principles that apply to all environmental marketing claims. They also provide specific guidance about how consumers are likely to interpret particular claims and how marketers can qualify them to avoid deceiving consumers.
