Conference Description

Join the Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the office of the Attorney General from North Carolina, the North Carolina Justice Center, legal services attorneys and other consumer advocates, and state and federal consumer protection officials at this free event to discuss issues facing consumers today. Topics include notario fraud, immigration services scams, mobile home purchasing scams, the affordable care act, and auto financing scams. Conference participants will reflect upon experiences and challenges, make connections, and consider how groups can better collaborate and share information and resources to assist the immigrant community in the future.
