Mr. Ducore- I am writing to request strongly that Trader Joe's be brought to Portland, ME. As a person with health issues, I choose to eat higher quality foods, but honestly, cannot afford Whole Foods, which is grossly overpriced, and doesn't even carry a third of the variety that Trader Joe's does. Please know that I represent a whole sector of the population looking for real food, ethnic variety, and the opportunity to pay less than the small, specialty-store and health-food stores, which are few and far between, are currently charging in our state. Maine needs a Trader Joe's store, as soon as possible. I believe it will do well, especially in the spot designated on Marginal Way, where college students and the ethnically diverse population will take advantage of it's variety, and interesting products! Trader Joe's will be a major boon to the Maine economy, and Portland is definitely the place to start! Thank you. Jennie Martin, Gray, ME
