This is a horribly short-sighted and biased attack and goes against the FDA's own mission statement. "The FDA is responsible for protecting the public health... and helping the public get the accurate, science-based information they need to use medicines and foods to improve their health." Where is the "science-based" information regarding this subject?? There are numerous proven and accepted studies showing the benefits of sensible UV exposure. Where are the proven and accepted studies to the contrary? Until fact based figures are included, it is like putting a warning label on automobiles saying, "Being in an automobile MAY result in injury". Please apply a mixture of facts and common sense to your decisions.
