The TV ads for Free Credit Report.com are deliberately misleading. It is not really free. One must subscribe to a service in order to get the report. These commercials should not be allowed on the public airwaves. Also, at annualcreditreport.com, the report should be made immediately available after one has entered the necessary personal information to verify identity. Only after the report has been viewed should any advertising of auxilliary products be allowed. Free should mean free with no strings attached.
