16 CFR Part 610 Amendments to Rule to Prevent Deceptive Marketing of Credit Reports and to Ensure Access to Free Annual File Disclosures
The FTC should remove all advertising and marketing by the credit bureaus before, during and even after the process of getting a free credit report. I've been victimized by the confusion of the credit reporting companies' website banners on AnnualCreditReport.com, which appear before the free ordering line items, and my requested refund for the fees, was denied by the Credit Reporting Companies. Please correct this 'advertising-moneymaking hole' in the legistation. Thank you.
