16 CFR Part 610 Amendments to Rule to Prevent Deceptive Marketing of Credit Reports and to Ensure Access to Free Annual File Disclosures
All advertising and marketing by the credit bureaus before, during or after the process of getting a free credit report. People should be able to get their reports and exit the Web site without having to go through various sales pitches. There should be one credit reporting agency, tightly regulated by the FTC. This agency should be commercial free.
