From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I say NO! Absolutely no more bail-outs, we can not afford them. Nobody misses Studebaker, Hudson, Packard, Plymouth and other makers of automobiles, others stepped up to take their place. Same thing with newspapers. When they learn to print truth without attempting to shape policy or opinion, they may earn the public trust. If the print media can not report truth without attempting to negatively bias the reader, be neutral in reporting political news, and write reports that inspire trust with the public, let them die. Allow the market place to determine what it wants to buy.
