From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Frankly, it is impossible for me to trust the FTC under this administration. It is imperative that the press in general and talk radio in particular be as politically independent as possible, and it is hardly a secret that this administration wants to squelch the voice of conservative talk radio. The mis-named "Fairness Doctrine" is a case in point. The very foundations of freedom of the press are at stake here, and the fear of liberals that the destructive idiocy of their world view will be exposed for what it is certainly is not an excuse for drowning out the voices of the other side.
