From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I have been concerned for quite some time about the double standard that has occurred with the mainstream media and is becoming increasingly more one-sided. There is so much information that I have received from Fox and other sources that is not even noted on the other national TV networks. Journalism is not just reporting what you support and believe in, but being objective and presenting both sides of the story. Many reporters have harrassed individuals who are conservative while ignoring blatant deception and fraud when it involves liberals and progressives. Everyone deserves to know the truth, not just what will promote the liberal agenda. The average voter primarily listens to NBC,CBS,CNN, etc. and believes everything that is said. A much smaller portion of people, like myself, take time to research both viewpoints. I have been amazed at how much has been covered up and how much twisting of the facts that has occurred especially since our current President has been in office. The proposal to bail out the media would allow the government to control even more of what is said, but more importnatly, WHAT IS NOT SAID. We all deserve to know the truth about what is going on in our country. Cut out the drama, report the facts; dig for the truth because lies will eventually bring the whole system down!
