From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Under no circumstances should the federal government subsidize or punish any form of journalism. That would, in effect, be an abridgement of free speech. We do not want the federal government engaging in propaganda against its own people and its own laws. If news organizations are floundering economically, it is only their just reward for continually attempting to propagandize the people and for manipulating elections. Also, under no circumstances should the federal government regulate free speech (that's political and religious speech) on the internet. Any effort to do so would surely be met with the stiffest resistance from the people and the courts.
