From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I am strongly opposed to any changes with regard to the FTC's taxing, regulating, or censoring the internet. I am also strongly opposed to any measure by the Federal or any state government to control content or to force so-called 'equity' of opinion or information. Leave talk-show radio and Christian broadcasts alone. No one is forced to listen and those who wish to have that liberty. The FTC should not intrude on Americans. We Americans have our rights which extend to freedom of speech and the FTC must not intrude upon that. If newspaper journalists cannot succeed with this new level of internet progress, do not take that out on Americans.
