From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
If newspapers are failing, it's their own fault for becoming irrelevant due to their bias. The FTC has no reason to prop them up, any more than they should prop up the Pony Express. The FTC certainly has no right to use tax dollars to enshrine the liberal bias of ANY media. So much for objectivity - do we aspire to the state-controlled media of Cuba and Venezuela? Perhaps we should abolish the FTC, since it seems intent on overstepping its bounds and squandering taxpayer money to advance its liberal political agenda, in the midst of a depression.
