From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Newspapers are failing for a number of reasons. The most important reason is that they only report the liberal side of issues, never the conservative side. They are nothing like "fair & balanced". The newspapers fail for the same reason that all their radio programs and stations fail - no one wants to listen to such biased content. The second reason they are failing is that subscribers have found new ways to get "fair & balanced" coverage of the news. Taxpayers must not be required to pay for additional support for PBA or NPR, or newspapers they don't want. The people of Venesuela are not happy with Ceasar Chavez' take-over of the media. O'Bama should not seek to follow his example.
