From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I urge you to maintain the freedoms that US citizens have always enjoyed in voicing their opinions. We are already becoming a nation that is overtaxed in all areas of our lives, this coming at a time when so many are out of work. It's time to stop the madness and protect the rights of our citizens, and censoring or taxing people for their beliefs is not the American way. The government is becoming too intrusive and should not be interfering with the right of free speech. It's not for the government to control what we think and how we express ourselves. Those who wish to have a career in journalism have excellent universities offering the education and tools needed for this profession. To expect the electorate to pay for their education is inexcusable.
