From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Dear Sirs: The Government has no business getting involved with this issue. Let the Free Market work. If some can't make it with their present formats, let them figure out what can work. We have a country full of journalism schools of higher learning. Perhaps they are not doing their jobs and that should be examined. The news industry may just be in a change that is inevitable. The buggy whip, pager, and now Blockbuster stores are some examples. Should we be involved in saving every industry that has outlived its use. There are other more efficient ways of getting news!
