From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
As one who, at times, has worked as a journalist, I see no need to "save journalism." Times change, so must journalism, which s alive and well on the internet and successful print publications. I have friends who are journalists and they are doing just fine because they are changing with the times. I Would particularly oppose anything that would tax certain types of communication to subsidize other types of communication. Such rules would violate the Bill of Rights, and lead to a government managed press. We don't need that.
