From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I would like to ask you not to invoke taxes or censorship of any conservative journalism; including publications, radio, television, or internet. Please consider following the United States Constitution regarding the first Ammendment and free speech. If the liberal media is having problems financially, maybe it is because people don't like their one-sided messages and are turning to alternative sources. When the media started misrepresenting the facts, people quit watching. They also quit buying from the advertisers. Journalism, unless editorializing and opinion stating that, should just stick to the facts and truth. Also on another matter, taxing each song as it is played on the radio would put out of business many local radio stations. If the Federal government would just stick to the responsibilities accorded to it by the Constitution, and let businesses fail and not take them over. Our President seems bent on the government taking over every aspect of our lives. I would urge you to consider these points that I have brought to your attention. Sincerely, Judy Payne
