From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I can't imagine anything more contrary to the interests of the American public than to have a government sponsored media. This would only further jeopardize the first amendment. Further--since it wasn't necessary to bailout the buggywhip industry and that worked out alright, why would we think that we need to bailout another industry that might need to "adjust" to the times to remain competitive? Limitations or inspirations on speech are directly prohibited by the Constitution. Start abiding by it, please. Regards, Daver Lapka
