From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
As we all know, there are forces at work that would choose to silence all but those that would control our government. It must never be allowed that our freedom of speech in any way be more restricted than it is now. It is our right to express our opinions through every media to which we have access, whether we are individual bloggers or professional journalists, and with full knowledge that we may be held accountable for inaccuracy, slander or defamation, we must accept that possibility. Above all, we must be free to write, to create, to speak, to complain, to criticize or agree, and to express ourselves without unwarranted and unjust restrictions.
