From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
It is incomprehensible that the FTC should feel it has authority to tax ANY journalistic expression. If the public chose to support the journalism that is failing to "ring true"they can do it by buying the newspapers. The news organizations of our major cities have become little more than political puppets of the present leadership in Washington. It is an encroachment on our free press that is given in our Constitution. If the news cannot handle the competition let it fail. And if you cannot handle the opposing viewpoints then it is time to consider yourself a complete and utter failure.
