From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I am opposed to this proposal. The First Amendment guarantees free speech, and I believe that taxing or in any way monitoring or attempting to enforce certain restrictions on any one, commentator or news agency included, is unconstitutional. This proposal appears to be a thinly veiled attempt to censor anyone other than the liberal media. Everyone has the right to voice their beliefs just as everyone has the right to ignore those comments.
