From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I am opposed to any further regulation or government support of any kind related to journalism and the media. The free market system, free of government intervention should be the only influence on what forms of news distribution and media business models survive in the future as journalism "reinvents" itself. News publications should be driven to provide relevant news via convenient media and technologies fueled by consumers demand alone. I am adamantly opposed to any new taxes of any kind in support of journalism and the media and I strongly feel that government regulation, subsidization, or influence of the media in any way is in direct opposition to our United States Constitution.
