From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
i find your proposal to tax selected commentary a slap in the face to free speech and the first ammendment. it looks like more of a way to control the content of speech. if you put this into effect, i hope you are challenged in court. i will gladly contribute to any group that mounts such an attack on this terrible proposal. to have public money (taxes) used to pay certain reporters or commentators a gross misuse of these funds. is the intent here to, in essence, control the media and therefore have the media espouse the position of the administration? hardly a free press.
