From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I am upset that you would even consider some of the moves proposed in your plan for the "Reinvention of Journalism" that outlines a series of taxes that would stifle free speech. I ask that you oppose such moves that look to add new taxes or be used to punish someone’s ideas or the expression of their verbal ideals. Further, journalists need to be paid the way the rest of us are -- through work; not through taxation that would serve to further advance a single viewpoint among journalists. Again, I ask you to oppose such moves as proposed in the "Reinvention of Journalism".
