From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Sirs; I strongly object to any effort to control the media; Including taxation on the receipiants, financial assistance to those who study journalism or any efforts on your part to curtail free speech or its decemination. The American public should be free to receive and evaluate all sides of a question without any interference whatsoever from the Government or its varied arms, including you. Journalistic companies must learn to survive as any other business does. NO MORE BAILOUTS! In addition, news agencies should return to telling the news without a political slant. The plain, simple, unvarnished truth is mandatory. Perhaps some of the businesses who are in crisis have become threatened due to their own editorialization of the news.
