From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I completely disagree with the “Reinvention of Journalism” act, or whatever you are calling it. It's not our government's business to regulate any aspect of sppech, whether it be print, radio, TV or internet. Any new taxes designed to "better-support and lower the costs of journalism" must also be opposed. People with good ideas who generate an audience survive in an unregulated media market. The American people should not be made to subsidize unpopular commentators, news organizations, or types of media, and the one who are successful should not be penalized for such. Keep your rules and regulations out of our lives!!!
