From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I am opposed to any tax on free speech. The 1st Amendment provides for free speech, and the emphasis should remain on "free". Those on the left and the right, should be able to speak freely. In the Supreme Court case of McCulloch v. Maryland, Daniel Webster, and Chief Justice John Marshall said, "The power to tax is the power to destroy." That thought certainly applies here. Keep America free, keep speech free, no matter what you have to say. That way, it won't matter who is dominating the politcal enviroment at the time, we all will be able to express our thoughts, and feelings freely. It is the American way. Thank you for your time and consideration. TJ.
