From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
We need to encourage all forms of information for the public to access at their leisure. If the "conventional" media cannot adapt to the new age of communication, they must be allowed to fail. Rather than stifle creativity and growth, the FTC must encourage all mediums to be the best that they can be. Taxing new forms of media serves only to limit information to the public and stifle debate. In a free and open society, this is unacceptable.
