From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I oppose the Reinvention of Journalism plan which will stifle and impede open flow of information, impose unfair taxation and will improperly intrude on the free market of news propagation. One mode of the media should not subsidize another to prop up a failing enterprise. Technological advances should not be penalized with an undue tax burden and regulation in order to keep antiquated forms operating beyond the time they are no longer viable. This is in contravention to the First Amendment and will improperly control free speech.
