From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
The very idea that the government would even consider appropriating even more of my earnings in a tax to "repair" journalism, or preserve it or change it; or to in some way silence certain elements on talk radio or the Internet is anathema to any right-thinking American. And unconstitutional, it seems to me. If journalism needs to be saved or changed, it should be done by its practitioners, NOT the government. Further, I thought this administration was not going to tax the middle class. The whole idea is appalling and, as an American citizen, I am unalterably opposed to it.
