From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Re: FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION STAFF DISCUSSION DRAFT:1 POTENTIAL POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS TO SUPPORT THE REINVENTION OF JOURNALISM I find it alarming that you are even considering reinventing journalism. We do not need any additional rules or regulations which will curtail free speech on the Internet, on radio, television, or any new invention which may come along in the future. Free speech is the cornerstone of democratic freedom. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Please abide by the Law of the Land. Protect free speech!
